Recent Stiwdio Safle Projects

Delivering a national programme of contemporary artists’
projects and residencies that educate, develop and support
artists, professionals and communities.

The Stiwdio Safle programme seeks to develop artistic practice in area’s previously under or unexplored, to place artists in contact with communities in new environments and to build new creative and productive partnerships between organisations, artists and other professionals relevant to the environment in which the project is placed.

The programme will include residencies and research projects which engage with specific communities to explore relevant issues, concepts and topics, or projects in partnership with others, where this may lead to the creation of artwork, emerging from the specific relationship between a “community” or a location and an artist.
