Wall with a View Opening this Friday
An art project by UWIC arts graduates Lauren Curl,
Paula Morison, Ed Elliott and Madge working alongside
mentoring artists Bermingham & Robinson.
“Wall with a View”, the latest art intervention in Bay has its roots in local inspiration, as four UWIC graduates engage with their first commission and transform the entrance to the Cardiff Bay Barrage Coast Path into an interactive artwork that will change each and everyday.
Cardiff Harbour Authority and Safle are pleased to invite you to celebrate the completion of the ‘Wall with a View’. An artistic intervention by artists Lauren Curl, Ed Elliott, Paula Morison and Madge.
On Friday 24 October 2008, 1.00pm prompt outside the Norwegian Church Arts Centre, Cardiff Bay.
The work will be unveiled by Councillor Nigel Howells Executive Member for Leisure Culture and Sport, Cardiff Council.
We extend our warm thanks to mentoring artists Bermingham & Robinson, Staff at Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre, the Norwegian Church Art Centre and Cardiff Harbour Authority for their support and advice.
Light refreshments will be available at the Norwegian Church after the unveiling.
The project has been jointly commissioned by the Cardiff Harbour Authority and Safle.
Please RSVP to Emma Price at Safle on 0845 2413684 or email via the link below.
